Locally and nationally recognized for innovative interior design and consulting services, Eclectic Home provides residential and commercial interiors that are as unique as each individual they design for.

Eclectic Home’s work has been featured in regional and national publications such as Luxe Magazine, Elle Décor, Décor Magazine, Southern Living, and HGTV Magazine just to name a few.

Eclectic Home’s mission goes beyond the world of Interior Design. For over two decades, charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity are an ongoing partnership, donating a range of home furnishings to their restore program since 2016. The proceeds from the sale of these donations have assisted Habitat for Humanity’s mission to help families achieve homeownership.

“My passion for art and design knows no period or style boundaries. I think that spaces are highly evolved and timeless when they have a mix of periods and styles.  Design Diversity is my mantra and Eclectic is truly my namesake.  I strive to create environments that are a true reflection of the client’s personality.”

Penny Francis established Eclectic Home in 2000, along with a 7,000 sq. ft. showroom and design center. Eclectic Home allows customers the ability to experience a one-of-a-kind shopping and interior design experience. The store is eye-candy for all who enter and a true reflection of eclectic design in furniture, lighting, and accessories.

Ryan is a graduate from The Kansas City Art Institute with a BFA in Textiles and Fiber Studies. Growing up, Ryan’s parents were always knocking down walls and redesigning his childhood home asking for his creative eye with every decision. He remained surrounded by art and design throughout his 13 years in the retail industry before moving to New Orleans; the home of bold color, original flavor and eclectic styles. “Every city possesses its own original style, but I knew I would find happiness in New Orleans. Eclectic Home is the perfect representation of what this city is about. The unique pieces that can be found in this showroom are a finely curated collection of treasures that I am passionate about sharing with the community around me. Selling beautiful things comes naturally to me but sending customers home with something that sparks joy within is the best feeling.”
